Dedede in the third panel needs to be someones avatar. Just look at that mouth.

I remember a comic about trophies and the trophy stand trophy. I remember Katie admitting she just wanted to draw Dedede with silly faces.

You should want to do that more often, Katie. That third panel made me laugh the most I have in a while.

Also I don't think King Dedede actually has teeth but this wouldn't be half as funny without them so

Actually I just tested it; the faces are still hilarious.

I'm pretty sure he has ankles. And ankles are technically part of the legs.

Here's the Dedede face (with the rest of the hat!) in case anyone wants to do something with it.

It's kinda hard to side with Dedede on what his interpretation of normal is when he's a legless penguin/albatross with teeth.

That, my friend, is what's known as THE JOKE

All I can think of is that Twilight Zone episode where everyone was ugly but thought that's what looked good and the one "hideously ugly" person whose face they wouldn't show until the end was a normal person.

Katie, I don't know if you'll see this, but if you do, could you please devote all your future comic-making efforts into Dedede comics? I know there are other games you'll end up caring about down the road, but with Brawl in the Family being over forever, you're the only person I can ask to keep making comics that have Dedede in them, especially with your style of making sure he never has an ordinary expression. I don't think Scott Dewitt cares enough about Dedede, and I'd ask Gigideegee, but she seems to have this irrational hatred of people liking her old video game parody comics and wanting more of them.
