I know they've been hitting a lot of games, so probably. They've hit League servers several times.

Kickstarter has updated its terms of use in regards to failed projects. This is good news; I hope that this enables quality projects to be created. However I am worried about projects that are just screwed over by truly random circumstances. I hope they won't get hit too hard.

It's too bad this didn't come before scams like Starbound, Yogventures and Tim Schafer's Relevancy Quest.
Starbound still hasn't added in all of its stretch goals.

If you take it upon yourself to organize a project, you have the responsibility to prepare for eventualities. Rare is the case where circumstances were completely unavoidable, but it's easy to point to circumstance to blame a project's failure.

Lizard Squad also apparently made an\ Bomb Threat on a plane that had John Smedly, president of SOE. These guys are going to extremes.

Not really, I mean, it's a bit old, but it's only like, a month old.

"lol provoking people is fun guys". I'd understand if they had some actual cause, some perceived injustice they're fighting against, but they don't.

I remember an article talking about how internet trolls have the same mental processes going on as psychopaths do. No regard for the interests of others. Sad really.

All they've really done is inconvenience people, I doubt they really care about how said people feel about said inconveniences.

Intel pulls ads from Gamasutra.

I feel like writing a few emails.

Approving emails to them? Or not? Cause I think this is surprising, and cool. Though, I totally understand if they're just doing it cause they don't want anything to do with it.

I meant sending emails to advertisers, that's how Intel was made aware of people's discontent with the site. And yes, they most likely just want nothing to do with anything so this is how they're washing their hands clean. Of course Gamasutra supporters saw it as Intel supporting GG because their brains are on permanent us vs. them mode and a multi-billion dollar company severing ties with partners with bad PR must be some kind of ideological thing.

I may have been angry at Kain before, but I feel that this article of his is a good write-up of how GamerGate has gotten to this point and why it hasn't lost steam like so many people want it to.
