Do The Minion Mash:
Bowser has a discussion with one of his minions.
BOWSER: "No. I can't let you be in my moveset. I won't risk one of my minions in this slaughter..."
Bowser looks behind him at Pikmin getting stomped on, Luma getting knocked away, and Peach blocking a missile with Toad.
BOWSER: "IT WOULD BE UNCONSCIONABLE!!"
Bowser glares at other fighters.

Devil's Hands & Idle Playthings:
The Smash characters are smashing each other when one of the three Daybreak parts falls from the sky. They grab it, and then a second piece falls from the sky. It gets grabbed. In the next panel we see Crazy Hand and Master Hand in the background of the stage. Crazy Hand throws the third piece into the fray.
MASTER HAND: "That was the Dragoon engine."
The three mismatched pieces get assembled, rocketing one of the fighters around in the air while the others run for their lives.
CRAZY HAND: "I know."
The Hands fistbump.

This was (at least the second line) word for word my exact and instantaneous response to seeing Lysandre. No hesitation. No contemplation. I even said it out loud despite being by myself.

Another good name would be Signal Hair.

Or perhaps upon leaving the elevator he begins his hammy speechrant about world beauty and everything, leaning in EXTREMELY CLOSE to HIGHLIGHT all the KEYWORDS that trigger the "HI, I'M THE MAIN VILLAIN" flag. And after all of that and practically forcefeeding hints about "I'mma go destroy the world now, k".... theeeen it zooms in on the trainer's/Katie's face and says "That's villain hair." Like... out of ALL of that -- the painfully obvious villain speech, the fancy clothes, the fact the game forces you to listen and stare at him, talks about changing the world, etc. -- out of AAAALL of that... all they notice is the hair looks like 'villain hair'. This is almost exactly what I did in my playthrough.

With the Mii Fighters in the 3DS and Wii U installments of the game, It introduces an opportunity for Self-Insertion

Armor Than Meets The Eye/Less Than Zero Suit:
Zero Suit Samus, Mario, Villager, and Samus battle. Mario knocks Samus down and grabs her.
MARIO: "Wait..."
Looks behind him at Zero Suit Samus, looks back at regular Samus. Takes off helmet. Solid Snake is in the armor.

Possible alternate punchline has Zero Suit not participating in the battle. Snake is revealed.
MARIO: "If you're in here...where's Samus?"
We cut away to Zero Suit Samus in her relaxed shorts outfit, sunbathing and enjoying a cocktail.

Little Mac gets back from a jog in his trademark pink jogging suit.

Ganondorf laughs as Little Mac removes the hood revealing his wire frame appearance. Ganondorf shuts up and goes pale.

Panel One: Hawkeye Gough had the Black Everlasting Dragon of Calamity,Kalameet,in a headlock inside a wrestling ring.

Panel Two: Dragonslayer Ornstein,in the stands,stands,demanding, "GIVE HIM THE CHAIR!"

Panel Three: Executioner Smough is revealed to be seated right next to Ornstein,who says, "EAT HIS FINGERS!"

Panel Four: Knight Artorias the Abysswalker is revealed to be seated next to Smough,who is glaring at Smough with extreme disapproval with Ornstein.

Panel Five: Smough shrugs and say,incredulously, "What?"

Alternate delivery could have him dodging all the previous fighters who could eat/bite him only for him to be caught by Pac-Man.

Title for this alternate version could be... uh... Pot Hole Plot Hole ... I mean... the pots are usually open like any normal pot... the rest have lids that could just be opened.... so...... yeah.
And for that last bit... I'm thinking, like, a One Piece level of reaction face... with a multi-panel zoom.

I like the first delivery. Say, the panels get closer each word he says.
Maybe he could even be chased by Greninja and Yoshi as the same time.
More funnies if one is on his team and they're still teaming against him.
Even more if it's a Mario stage and he ends up jumping into a pipe for shelter only for a Chomper to come up and reveal he's in its mouth.
