I don't play much Resident Evil, but that situation sounds pretty hopeless. Load an older save and scrounge ammo, or check youtube m8.

Easy peasy! See, there's this huge box loaded in the plane with you and the Tyrant. There's also a green switch, and when you press it, the box gets ejected! Now, imagine what happens if the Tyrant gets hit by this box. Sure enough, it's gonna get hurt! So do it a few times and that monster is history. Voilà !
