Call me old fashioned, but throwing plumes of fire forward in a race where you use open-air vehicles just seems like a bad idea. Best to fire backward, so you get that sweet sweet cartoony speed boost, melt the road, and turn the other racers into vengeful automatons, hell bent on controlling all of Dinosaur Land, and winning the Rainbow Cup in their free time.
