hey everyone I just got back from work how badly did Microsoft and EA beef it

Microsoft showed off a bunch of games, and not much else. I think the only time they talked about TV was a single minute devoted to talking about how the premiere of a new Halo series directed by Ridley Scott would be coinciding with the release of their Halo 1-4 compilation.

Microsoft kicked booty.

I've never been so excited to buy Halo 3 for what is now the fifth time.

games I give a shit about so far:

Cuphead (I really hope this comes to steam)

Valiant Hearts



and now at least we have all the dumb bullshit companies out of the way
now all that's left is Sony and Nintendo

Sony will probably dedicate some time to show how epic and filmic the gameplay in The Order: 30fps is and maybe some new content for it, like color. That and maybe one or two super-optimized tech demo games for the Morpheus that are the only ones that will ever run at the proper framerate to not induce vomiting.

With Nintendo, I'm expecting the usual first party announcements in their Direct that will try to convince me to buy a new WiiU and not a used one years later when all the worthwhile software's been released.

Far Cry 4 actually looks kind of cool. I find it kind of ridiculous that an elephant could survive an explosion like that though.

As long as there is no announcement of a Darkwatch reboot i could care less about E3 anymore (besides Nintendo)

when sony was talking about games it was fucking great but then there was this 40 minute period where they talked about not games and that was about the worst thing, ever

long story short I want a PS4

still no reason to buy an xbone
EA isn't doing anything important
ubisoft is eh
sony put out at least fifty different reasons to buy a PS4 and basically kicked all the competition in the dick

except nintendo, but nintendo isn't competing with sony, because nintendo doesn't compete with anyone, because nintendo already won this before it even started just with smash bros

but still sony was the only worthwhile anything today

Microsoft somehow wasn't a complete trainwreck. Sony still knocked it out of the park.

Half of those "reasons" were multiplats and downgraded PC ports with exclusive DLC, though, much like what MS showed.
