Look at the size of the Operating System! It's only 2MB! And it was in Binary Colors! Only 2 shades of colors, Black and White. Not even greyscale! :awesome:

I didn't own one of those, but I did use them in school, along with the 5 1/4 Inch Floppies.

First game I played was Age of Kings, that game was like a history lesson and I fell in love with gaming.

Mmm, I got started on video games when I was 8 years old. I was already interested in them because I watched my friend Michael play Pokemon, but my parents didn't want me playing video games. I guess I just wore them down eventually and they got me a GameBoy Advance.

...Although, I had gotten addicted to computer games long before then, because my dad liked to play King's Quest VII, and he let me play too. It will always be a good game in my opinion because it was the first one I played.

Couple of my friends at a daycare I went to years ago were playing FFAs in SSB64. They wanted a fourth player so one of them called me over, gave me a controller, and said "have fun"
That's how I got into Smash. With no clue how to do anything :D
When Melee came out I played it on my neighbors GC, and thought it was SO COOL how Kirby had more than one thing to Stone into. Too bad Kirby sucks in Melee.

As for video games in general, my mom bought a SNES when they were still the cool game system to own, and then bought Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong Country 2, and a few other games that I can't remember. I think Killer Instinct.
I pretty much grew up on DKC2. I still play it and love speedrunning levels.

I <3 Barlw, btw. Wouldn't have met Westley in spring if it weren't for Barlw.

When I was a kid my family would borrow this computer from a woman at my preschool. All I knew how to do was play Memory on that thing.

I used to live in South Dakota once a long while ago. Basically this kid who I hated but was still friends with had a NES. And Super Mario Bros. 3....It was so glorious. Then when I was 8 (Now in Iowa!) my dad split the cost of a N64 with me. AND LET ME TELL YOU it takes a long time for an 8-year-old to save up 80 bucks.

I got a Gameboy Pocket with Blue version somewhere in there.

There's pictures of me at about 8 months old and I've got the NES controller in my mouth, so I'd say I was obsessed at an early age, although my sisters never let me play. I watched games like burgertime, super mario bros 1,2, and 3, and a large chunk of my childhood watching zelda LTTP. I think that's one of the reasons why zelda is my favorite game series now. I became obsessed, played some computer games like chip's challenge and such but I bought my first system with the N64. Been buying systems and games since.

An old Mac, Myst and a father who plays videogames.

I'll probably surprise you, but my first console (which hooks to the tv) was a Gamecube.

N64 was my first console. I got it just before the Gamecube came out. Kinda sucked.

I kept ending up in areas where I had access to video games, when I otherwise wouldn't at home.

There was an NES at my daycare/preschool. I played Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. on it.

The computers at my elementary school had Oregon Trail, Lemmings, and a bunch of other fun ones in the computer lab, and then we got one computer in each classroom in the later years that had some awesome bug game on it I never learned the name of. And I never beat it either. Sob.

My brother was usually the one to actually own any games we got, so I didn't get to play. I got to watch.

The first game I ever got to play in the comfort of my own home was OoT.

The first game system that I ever owned myself was the PS2, which my uncle got for me just before he passed away. It's breaking my heart it's struggling to read discs properly now. ;_;

I still have my brother's old N64 as well.
