I started replaying RE4 like as soon as that play through went up. I got up to the last location (The Island) before my Wiimote died and I didn't feel like replacing the batteries.

I'm watching Giant Bomb's persona 4 run and the video stuttering keeps messing me up when I try to play along with shuffle time.

I think one of the reasons why the Resident Evil 4 playthrough feels like much more fun than the Yakuza 4 one is because the game isn't as complex. It's just more straightforward in its gameplay, story and ridiculousness to the point where anybody can sit down and watch it and have a laugh.

Man, people are being real pissy in the RE4 comments. Like, yeah Pat is fucking this shit right the hell up, but nobody in their right mind plays RE4 because they know where are the treasures are or can get throughout the game without getting hit, they play it to fuck up a die a bunch and persevere anyway. I really real like if the playthrough were perfect it would miss out on the true RE4 experience.

I mean, its surprising when they don't know something, but people still get more worked up over it then they need to. I've seen people say it's "hard to defend Pat" but against what exactly? RE4 is a game about not knowing everything and just trying to scrape by while fucking up because it's hard. It wouldn't be genuine without all the mistakes.

What the hell, I started watching the FF8 video and once they got to the triple triad part and that theme kicked in, it hit me in the face like a truck. But the thing is, I've never played FF8 so I don't know where I'd heard the theme before. I have a feeling some Freewebs site I visited years ago had it as background music.

Markiplier is a good LPer, you just need to warm up to him, he occasionally does hilarious reactions.
