I got a little bit alarmed the other day when I tried to enter the Thieves Guild and promptly turned every NPC in there hostile towards me, even the rats. Previously in this file I had tried to enter the Flagon before getting an invite and got counted as a trespasser, but I didn't think that would affect the questline once I actually started it--especially since I reloaded my save file to before I entered the Flagon.

But after getting Brynjolf's invite I was still treated as a trespasser, and apparently this is a bug that is kind of common.

Thankfully I was able to set my faction to Thieves Guild and that allowed me to enter the Flagon with no worries, and the rest of the Thieve's Guild questline continued without a hitch. Thank heavens for console commands.

I once had Serana aggro Ulfric Stormcloak for seemingly no reason. For a bit I had fun watching him ragdoll me with FusRoDah, then I reverted a save... didn't work, spent like 30 minutes trying to reset the AI, leaving Serana outside, going to different cells, etc. I eventually had to leave the palace, reset the whole cell, and leave Serana outside, and even then Galmar was still attacking me. It was so weird, especially considering that I was a Stormcloak.

I got tired of seeing it in my quest log, honestly. I am now drowning in gems. I can't drop any more on the bed because the second I look at it my framerate drops by about 20.
When i still cared about selling things I also ended up with ~150k gold, and now I'm up to around 200k simply because quest rewards have gotten so ridiculous. I got 7.5k gold for killing a dude in a fort full of ash spawn. it took all of 10 minutes, most of which was spent finding the daisies key.

I wish my real collection of shiny things were that huge.
But nooooooooo, all my gems are tiny and realistic and far fewer in number

wow what level even are you? i'm still getting 300 - 1k per quest depending on what it is. even dark brotherhood isn't paying me that much (but it's not about the cheddar, is it?) granted i'm not terribly high level though - only in the low/mid 30s if i remember right.

i found me elder scroll a few days ago and i accidentally summoned alduin and...i'm not sure i wanted to do this haha ; ;

54. But I'm also a mage which means I never had to craft anything and all enchanted items ended up getting sold. I use Morokei, the Archmage robes, Savos Aren's amulet, Nightingale boots and I change out my gloves and rings from magic to sneaky things depending on if I need to fight or sneak. All of these things were found as loot or a quest reward, so basically every enchanted thing I made using my hundreds of soul gems was put into some random shopkeeper's inventory.
My point is that I have a shitton of cheddar and only really still play this file because I don't want to have to save it back up.

Gotta get that 100,000 gold achievement, right?

I'm starting to wonder if getting Cutthroat Merchants before getting that achievement was a good idea... this character will be in the 80s by the time i get that much gold.

Oh please, that gold achievement is easy as hell to get. Give yourself 99,999 septims with the console and pick up 1 gold or sell something.

Yeah, but we're talking about getting the gold without cheating like a plebeian.

I only use console commands to fix bugs, like being unable to drop an item or when the Thieves Guild was hostile to me despite having been invited to join them.

Still fairly easy, if a bit grindy. Become a wood chopper. Go to riverwood, chop wood for a few days, you get it easily. It's what I do when I need more cheddar for something. Really any of the mills pay decent wages, it's just riverwood is where everyone passes through. Or for Hulda in whiterun, she pays the same.
