mundane makes your weapon scale with your lowest stat

so for example if you had 50 in every stat, but only had 10 in adaptability, you would scalle off that 10

if you have 20 in every stat but 19 in str, you would scale off that 19

I'm not sure how that's even remotely useful compared to one that scales off your main stat.

Oh right, I forgot those work off Int and Faith together. Though honestly seems like it'd be better to just put the points in Faith anyway to make the hexes stronger. They seem like an endgame thing anyway, since they use souls to cast. Or at least Resonant Soul does.

Anyway, think I'm going to save up some souls and buy the Arch staff from Darkdiver I spotted in his inventory.

Because if you had 20 in EVERY stat

it would scale

off every stat

so that'd be 180 points to the scaling

and it scales incredibly stupidly well

Hexes at the moment basically dominate NG+, especially in PvP. Dark doesn't have any real resistances, most armor is really terrible against it, and most shields can't hardly block it.

Dark scales off the lowest stat between faith and int. If you have the same amount of int and faith, it scales off both. Most people go 30/30 and that's it they can cast like every hex, and it combines the stats so it does shittons of damage.

Resonant Soul does up to 1500 damage easily, and combine that with the fact that PvP eventually descends into people in full havel's running around casting hexes, having poise and physical defense out the booty, and yeah it's endgame.

anyways the point is hexes are bullshit, hexers are bullshit, it'll eventually get all fixed up, but until then it's all bullshit

40 ATTN, 40 INT, 40 FAI.

Become a god.

Actually, because of how soul memory works, and with the ease of leveling in this game, that's more like 99 attn, 99 faith, 99 int, and 50's in every other stat

I wish it was easier to tell what can and can't be parried. Like the knight guys in Iron Keep, am I timing it wrong or can they not be parried? Can another player's guard break thing be parried? And apparently the Pursuer can be parried?

So I joined the Champion's Covenant because I was curious what it was, took me quite a bit of suffering in Old Man's Wharf to figure out that wasn't the best idea.

i could be wrong but i dont think the guard break is parryable

and yes both the knight guys and pursuer can be parried. pursuer is not worth it as he recovers insanely quick

I'm probably just facing bad enemies but I'm actually starting to like PVP ever since I managed to beat my first other player in a good, fair fight. Of course, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do against a spellcaster.

I'm recording some of my more amusing deaths to make some sort of funny/bullshit compilation later on, and this is my least favourite so far.

You pretty much got the trifecta of bullshit right there: the game changes it's rules without telling you, enemies hit you through walls and pivoting somehow moves you backwards.

I'm recording my entire playthrough exactly for moments like that. Here's one close call.

I'm also laughing like a retard over this.
