you decide to fly up to have a better vantage point in order to find a exit, but on your way up you find an open skylight.

as you exit the skylight the sun burns your eyes. a cool breeze blows and you can see for miles. turns out the building you were in was not only incredibly tall, but also on top of a hill. you see 3 paths. one leads to a town, another to an ocean, and the third to a dead forest full of darkness and things that would probably eat you without so much as a howdy do.

Which path do you take?
