did you get pates armor from summoning and him not dying on the last giant boss?

cause whoever you kill, the other will give you their armor. you automatically get the key for the locked room


also if you are having trouble fighting vendrick, use the old whip. it does extra damage against hollows and i only had 30 dex. was still doing like 267 damage a hit with 4/5 giant souls

vendrick cant hit anything on his 9-10 o'clock. not even his horizontal swipe hits. i learned this in a video that i watched after killing him the hard way by trying to roll under those swipes. god daisies i felt stupid. made NG+ vendrick so much easier.

fookin hell, every enemy leading up to the Smelter Demon is dead and i can't get him lower than half health consistently. Any sick tricks i should try?

flash sweat is good if you got a pyro glove. small orange burs which you can buy from rosebeth. flame quartz ring +1 is over by the salamanders in the fire area by the cardinal tower (use the falling cat ring). before you actually move in to hit him use a lifegem to counteract the firedamage. poison works on him. if you have sorc power hes decently ok to fight with that. gold pine resin works well.
