Isn't the key to any fighting game to pick the big bruiser character, block until the other person finishes their combo, punch them, and repeat?

eeh, not really, nowadays there's tons of ways to punish turtling, aka blocking like a wuss. In some games you gat stuff like chip damage, a bit of damage that passes through a guard; or guard crush, where too much blocking weakens your guard until it breaks, leaving you wide open. I could also just run up and grab you, or hammer you from a distance with ranged attacks. Really tho, i'm quite partial to using sicknasty impossibly stupid unblockable attacks, like Ralf Jones' Galactica Phantom, that outright shatter your block like a sledgehammer through dried play dough.

Can't wait to beat dudes up with my idol power. Seriously, I'm curious to see what her moves are gonna be like since she isn't actually a fighter, and non-fighter characters with wacky play styles are always great.

So, first impressions of JJBAASB: I'm in heaven

Campaign is fun, except when I get Kira or Shigechi. Especially Shigechi. Holy shit I am so fucking salty

Shigechi is pretty annoying when you wanna actually beat him but I'm grinding medals by losing so :U
He's small so most jumping attacks miss him, that's why I pick other dwarves to fight him (either I pick Shigechi, Koichi, and I picked Iggy in the Japanese version too)
Man but wait for the campaign with Baoh and his 15000 HP

Luckily I figured out that Zeppeli is pretty good in beating up little kids, and later I tried Josuke aswell because he helped me with Kira. Good lord that was kind of a mistake though, Shigechi scares the piss out of me in that conversation - it's like he's the actual villain of the story.

But yeah, I don't have Koichi yet, I only finished Part 2 of the story mode so far because I was tired of getting beaten up by Kira so I outwaited the timer. And first boss to come after the timer reset was Shigechi, augh

I'm trying to "exploit" Toshikazu's random assist in campaign mode as he creates a double of one of your items at random by only keeping boss-seeking items but he… Never appears

I got him a few times actually, but I only had Anubis' item, so now I have them out of the wazoo, lol.
I usually use it when I'm on some asshole boss and Stroheim or rather Dire happened so I can let that CPU feel my anger.


I kind of have more fun playing against player avatars than bosses, because it's just the same over and over again and I want some changes here and there. I don't really want to do online battles because from what I heared the netcode is worse than every JoJo villain combined. Which is a daisies shame because I can see myself putting actual work in this game and git gud


But hey Great Handsome Oppressor we can beat each other up anyways - I want to see if I can get atleast one hit on you
