Baking another cheesecake. This time I am doing the water thing. It looks good so far, I'll know for sure in half an hour.

EDIT: Success.

I am quickly discovering that sausage is the easiest meat to add to anything. In this case a baked potato.

...this is like the most fattening thing ever and I love it.

Edit: ah, the inside isnt quite as baked as the rest of the potato. Guess thats what i get for using a big one.

French fries is bodaciously the easiest thing to make in the world.

You cut those spuds up (2).

You soak em for like a minute.

You put a shit load of spices and and maybe a little salt.

Bake em for a half an hour, then turn em over and put em in again for 15 minutes.

Then you serve them with like anything you want to dip them in.

(I like ranch, malt, and ketchup)

As an enjoyer of pie, I am currently indulging in some lemon meringue (store bought and it is hurting me, but $5 is $5). I realized that every time I bite into a lemon-type pie, I am secretly wanting Lemon Chess Pie (proper noun because of glory).

Now I am finishing this slice, and wondering what a lemon-chess meringue would be like. But I know the answer: it would be godly.

Successfully made paella. Was never able to to it before on our temperamental electric stove. I love this new gas stove.

Paella is rad, even though I'm not a fan of seafood.

Marinated some chicken strips in lemon and herb, then pan fried with some died red capsicum left over from the paella. Simmered rice in chicken stock.

Holy crap was it tasty. Too late for photos.

Man you guys in this thread going like "Whoa man I made rice with chicken im such a genius" amuse me.

My brother made spaghetti with honey mustard/dijon mustard ranch sauce and chicken tonight and it was delicious and it was just like "man its like nearly 8:00 what are we doing for dinner man" "idk i'll whip something man like do you even cook bro".

I mean no offense I know not all of you get to grow up with like an entire extended family of martha stewarts in disguise.

You should see our thanksgiving and christmas dinners, maybe i'll take a picture of it next time around.

My mom's favorite comfort food ever to make for herself is just rice and tomatoes. Good thing she hasn't made it in a while because I am not a huge fan.

I think it's good for a tiny bit, but after a while it get old. Now if you added some sausage in there.... wow you got me.
