Maybe you remember this game. It was an Action/adventure game done by studio Appeal that came out in 1999 and was one of the first open world world with great amount of characters interaction. I had great music and a great atmosphere.
A sequel was planed, unfortunately, the studio went out of business before completing it.
Anyway the original team managed to get the IP rights back and is now working on an HD remake. If it succeed, they intend to make a sequel.
