Why hello there! 'Tis the season to be jolly, my lovelies! What? You say Christmahanukwanzikah was two months ago? Dohohohohohoh, you sillies. I'm talking about RUCKY Day! The holiday of chocolates, roses, cards, those really awesome candy hearts with goofy romantic one-liners on them, and, for some people, CRIPPLING DEPRESSION. But no more!
Those of you who were around when I was a wee newbie on AZ know that I made people not hate me by making
this shipping wall, showcasing the beautiful pairings right here on our forum! And then everyone hated me again for not making another one. This also shall be no more! I'm making this an annual V-Day event! Depending on how well this one does..... Yeah.
I considered reviving
this thread, but I'm pretty sure Loli would have killed me, and also it's easier for to keep track of who needs to be shipped this way. So here's the rules:
1. You have one week from today to post who you want to see shipped together! Yes, that means it'll be late for RUCKY Day! Shut up!
2. I will only put ships between two AZ forum members on the shipping wall! No ships between a forumite and an inanimate object, no ships between fictional characters, and if I see you pair The Once-ler with anyone, I WILL PAIR YOU WITH MY BOOT. EDIT: If your significant other is not a member of AZ, that's OK! I'll still ship it, provided the individual is comfortable being shipped with you, and I have a name to put on the wall!
3. No Homestuck shipping references, please, not everyone understands/likes them.
4. Ships don't have to be exclusively romantic. You can ship people as friends, or you can do hate-ships AS A JOKE. IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL PROBLEM WITH SOMEONE, TAKE IT ELSEWHERE.
4. Please only post three pairings MAXIMUM! That way, I can keep this from being a cluttered mess. And no, you don't HAVE to post three.
5. I might put in my own ships for fun, so if you don't want to be included in this because you're a square and don't like shipping or because Marcato-sama's avatars are just so handsome, but you can't risk embarrassment by potentially being shipped with him, let me know! I'll respect your wishes, but I can't be held responsible if your name shows up and you didn't tell me you didn't want it to.
6. If there's a specific person you don't want to be shipped with for whatever reason, PM me about it, instead of potentially hurting someone's feelings by posting it in the thread! Again, I won't be held responsible for pairing you with someone in your Foes list if I didn't know about it!
7. You are allowed to pair people other than yourself together, but please bear in mind who does and doesn't want to be involved! If someone says no, they mean no, so please respect their wishes!
8. Want to be on the wall, but aren't sure who to be shipped with? That's OK! I can do surprise ships!
9. Oh! Almost forgot! If your ship is canon, let me know and I'll reserve a special part of the wall for it!
10. Let's try not to be mean-spirited here, OK? This is supposed to be fun and goofy. If you're going to take these ships seriously, this might not be the activity for you. I want this to be something enjoyable for RUCKY Day for you guys to participate in that may make someone who doesn't have a significant other in real life feel a bit better on V-Day. Bottom line: Just have fun! It's a dumb wall! It doesn't mean anything! If you don't make it on the wall, it's not because everyone hates you!
