So Sonic Retro was digging around and found an interesting post during a discussion of Sonic X-treme, someone remembered there was an episode of something called the "Anti-Gravity Room" that featured games coming out at the time, which were Super Mario 64, NiGHTS, and Sonic Xtreme, we barely have any sort of videos on the game in action, but right here is footage of the Metal Sonic boss fight...later in the movie.

The movie was found when someone found an old VHS for the Anti-Gravity room, they already uploaded it.

You can also see a few bits of Super Mario 64 and NiGHTS respectively, but they seem to be the complete versions.
Oh, and the vid has so much 1990's cheese, the two have little idea about what they're talking about.

That actually looks pretty good. I'm been kind of bitter about the gameplay style the series has been using since Unleashed, where you're always running in straight lines, so I'm hopeful about a return to a more Adventure-esque style. At least, I hope it works out that way.

They look cool. They overdid it with the bandages for sure, but apart from that I really like that they actually made Knux buff.

I like most of it, but the designs have little things that really bug me. Knuckle's legs still being so skinny totally throw off the design, for one. A really huge peeve that I can't believe higher-ups let happen is the new spike on Sonic's forehead. If you look for it on the 3D models, it's just absolutely wrong. The rest is okay with me, but I really hope they change those things. Proportions could stand to be shortened overall I guess, but that's more personal taste than criticism.

The in-game models look unpolished overall, but the short clip from the show looks pretty promising.

Well, they said that the designs were purely for the TV show; the game would be kinda like a pilot episode to the series

Where'd they say that? The gameplay features those same designs.

the closest we got to sonic adventure 3 was bodaciously sonic '06
same gameplay structure, same concepts, same everything but '06 was a billion times shittier

this looks nothing like the adventure games, multiple characters was not what the adventure games were about

also yeah these designs aren't replacing the regular characters, this is just a new thing revolving around the TV show, the games are prequels to it

A few notes on the game.

1.The game will be developed by Big Red Button entertainment, a team made of Ex-Naughty Dog members.
2.The game will be led by Bob Rafei of Jak and Daxter fame.
3.Chris Senn, known for being the only guy in Sonic X-treme's development to have his head on straight, will be the lead level implementer.
4.The game will be using CryEngine 3.
5.Instead of Dimps, Sanzaru Games, the guys who made Sly Cooper 4:Thieves in time, will be making the 3DS version.

Hope further increased! That sounds way better than Sonic Team!

The limbs are freaking me out. At 0:29 in the reveal trailer, Sonic's legs just look too long and... off, to me.

Otherwise, it looks fantastic. I can't wait to see more gameplay.

and porn.
