So this was Pinkie Pie's rainbow-eyed moment. Also, figured they'd be planning the party together in the end.

Oh hey look, a musical episode that doesn't have terrible pacing. I liked this episode quite a bit. Cheese Sandwich wasn't super annoying or anything like that, and he actually had a pretty cute back story.

Edit: I also absolutely loved hearing Weird Al do a cover of the Smile Song. Very nice touch.

That was a daisies good episode. From Cowboy Cheese Sandwich to Derpy at the chocolate fountain, all of the songs to live-action Boneless and Gummy, I loved it and found myself smiling and laughing all the way through.

Nice to see an episode where Pinkie is written well and not as a ditzy idiot.

I'm constantly worried and a bit cynical about the health of the show, but daisies were these past two episodes good. The rainbow-key story arch in general has been a source of great episodes, and I'm pleased with how Discord's been handled since being "reformed". I just hope they eventually go somewhere with it, since it wouldn't make sense for his barely-concealed malevolence to go unchallenged or unchanged forever.

Oh my freaking gosh I love the new episode. I'm dying, this episode was so funny. Definitely my favorite episode so far this season. Rarity episodes are best episodes.

I thought Rarity trying to act as a farmer was pretty funny, until I saw Applejack in a dress.

Seriously, that face she makes at the end of this. (Spoiler if you haven't seen it yet.)

Plot hole: how the fuck did Rarity get a crush on a pony with such doofy hair

One thing I don't get with this episode,

what happened to Spike's crush on Rarity? Like that was a big deal in the past but here she yell/cries at him that she has a crush on whatshisface and he doesn't bat an eye I

I guess his character development went to wherever everyone's pets disappeared to.

Dude, most of spike's character development was him getting over his crush on Rarity.

I don't think they ever devoted any time to showing that Spike was getting past his crush, but I kind of assumed that was the case. Or at least, I'm sure he's used to Rarity ignoring his romantic feelings by now.

This was another good episode. Maybe not quite up to par with the past couple, but still very good. I think the problem is that I wish that all Fluttershy episodes weren't just "Fluttershy is afraid of this particular thing and must overcome her fear". Also HOLY CRAP DOES ANGEL HAVE A GIRLFRIEND NOW?

Pinkie Pie was more annoying than usual this time. For the rest, the episode was pretty good.
