Shoe substitute!

Some days I like to make tiny lacerations somewhere and harvest the blood (in like a bag or something) to slather on my feet. (You can use cow or pig blood in a pinch, but you'll feel a weaker spiritual bond with the end product.)

Then I put my feet in a bag of flour, and it coats the bottoms, you know? Apply more blood, more flour, more blood, more flour, etc. Next I apply some reasonable heat, not enough to burn me but plenty to harden the flour.

I've found that this results in a pair of wonderful, form-fitting, disposable 'sole pads' that double as really unique, delicious pastries when they finally fall off. Blood and flour results in a dough totally unlike anything you'll find in a grocery store. It's like black pudding but a lot dryer and much crispier. A lot thinner as a general rule, but not always.

I might revise the recipe some time, like maybe eggs would help it hold together longer? And I can imagine cinnamon would go great with the blood flavor.
