Screw Mario, lets have more Luigi! I bloody love Luigi!

We ought to have a Paer Luigi game actually. You know how in Thousand year door where Luigi would tell you what he was doing while Mario collected the Cyrstal stars? Make that into a game. Hell yeah. XD

So anyone know what they're doing with After Luigi

I hope they'll announce a new Luigi's Mansion game and actually make it a proper Luigi's Mansion game

I... don't understand how Dark Moon isn't a proper Luigi's Mansion game?

You have ghosts. You have a vacuum. You have a flashlight. E. Gadd is there. It's about as Luigi's Mansion as it gets.
Also there have only been 2 games in the series so I mean hey maybe the original isn't a proper Luigi's Mansion game, maybe all Luigi's Mansion games from this point forward will have different mansions and a mission structure and the original will be seen as some weird early effort before the series really found its footing.

I dunno, I think all the stuff they added took away the Luigi's Mansion-ness to me.
Plus, for some reason, all the changes they made from the original just seem worse, in my opinion.

The reason I loved the original was because it was GHOST CATCHING 24/7 YO but Dark Moon was about 85% puzzle-solving. When you DID catch ghosts, it was super boring and took like 5 seconds maximum. It's like the ghosts don't even try to escape - The only times I've ever lost one, it was because I got hurt by something, not because it got away on its own. Whereas in the original, ghost catching was super fast-paced. The ghosts would fly all around the room, dragging you around and really struggling to get away.

Don't get me wrong though, I freaking love Dark Moon, But it's just so different in a lot of negative ways.

Replaying through Mario 3D Land, this game is pretty easy to 100%.

Yoshi's New Island is looking a lot better than it did a few Directs ago.

I'm pretty hype for New Island

My only beef is that the animation looks too stiff

I honestly don't like the artstyle, I think that DS and the original had a more fleshed out apperance that looking like an oil painting.

They were meant to look like crayon drawings, though

I could've worded that better. I like the old artstyle more because it looked bright and beautiful, and the child-crayon aesthetic popped out, it looked daisies well impressive for the SNES, and I'd argue its the best looking 2D "Mario" game ever. This new Oil painting has too many pastel and uninteresting colors for me, and I don't think it holds the same attention to detail like Yoshi's Island 1 and 2(DS) did.

Plus, I don't like the giant egg mechanic, I just don't...

I don't think it looks very "Yoshi's Island" enough, but I'm kinda impressed they even got that look on 3D Models

I can't really get excited for Yoshi games anymore. Yoshi's Story hasn't aged well, Topsy Turvy was pretty bad, Touch & Go was a fun, but short experience, and I found Yoshi's Island DS to be vastly underwhelming. I do have some slight interest in Yarn Yoshi, though. More footage of that when?
