Steven Universe is much better than I expected it to be. I very much enjoy how all the characters are allowed to be quirky and fun with well rounded personalities. For example, Pearl is very serious and strict but she also obviously cares a lot about Steven's safety and general well being and is the most vocal about it.

So South Park is having a big-booty three-parter that revolves around Game of Thrones and the Console Wars. Part two aired tonight and I have to say this is the best I've seen from South Park in a long-booty time. Kenny is now a KAWAII MAGICAL GIRL PRINCESS thanks to a gift from Kaz Hirai.

OK, yeah, not digging through sixty million pages of nonexistent SCP threads just to find the MLP thread, so I'm posting here for now.

Didn't get a chance to see the season 4 premiere until yesterday, and I thought it was pretty good. I don't think it was the best premiere, but still satisfying. Like everyone else, I enjoyed the flashbacks to Celestia defeating Nightmare Moon and Celestia and Luna defeating Discord. Also the Tree of Harmony was p. neat. What I don't understand is if Celestia and Luna knew that taking the Element of Harmony from the Tree would drain its magic and eventually cause the Everfree Forest to grow wildly(albeit with Discord's help), why did they let Twilight and the others keep them?

They didnt know about Discords seeds, the "all that grows here" refers to the rest of the Everfree Forest, which includes other dangerous plants. The Trees magic would probably have lasted indefinetly if Discords agressive seeds hadnt drained its reserves. Notice that Discord doesnt plant any of the seeds until after the Princesses have already taken the Elements.

Oh Steven Universe, I can't determine if you're cute of hideously disturbing. I will never look at shapeshifting the same way again.

That was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen in a LONG time on Cartoon Network...

This show...it's reminding me alot of back when Cartoon Network was amazing.

Ben 10 Omniverse and TMNT are proving themselves to be the best American action cartoons on right now.

Yeah, that's true, but I'm sure they'd still stand out even if there were some other good action shows on the air. Omniverse is much, MUCH better than the last two Ben 10 series, and TMNT has some awesome ideas and interpretations of classic characters as well as some new ones.

I dunno, I like the two last ones, because I found the first Ben 10 fucking unwatchable. Call me crazy, but having a kid character that I want to have his throat slit in his sleep is not good writing, he was the most obnoxious jackass on television since Jack from Will And Grace

Only really got worse.

The sequel series had him basically mature into hyper competence and mope on the off chance he wasn't completely in the right or didn't know everything.

Then they tried to fix it by kinda making him a bit of a jackass and play completely out of his mature character to be a lot more like the original persona, throwing out everything they did to get rid of his bad character habits and show how different he was because 5 year gap.

Now he just kinda oscillates between competent and arrogant but it still mostly works out for him because of experience and bad writing.

Never really cared for the series, I'd watch it if nothing was on, but it always had major problems.

I've seen some TMNT and haven't been too impressed. Seems at least better than the reboot series, but... ehh.

Only show with potential right now is Steven Universe in my opinion. Does the things right that AT does without all of the bullshit and annoyance that drove me away.

Hoping things stay that way.
