But it's Majora's mask.

Well, finally beat the game. Gotta say, aside from being awfully short and pandering way too much to players' nostalgia, it was actually really daisies good. That ending was surprisingly well-written. Still could've done with a better soundtrack, though...

So yeah, great game. But I'm still not so sure it was a great Zelda game.

It doesn't have to make sense, it's an Easter Egg; a joke. Not everything in a series of adventure games for kids has to fit into this great connecting schema.

A. We know; some of us just love nitpicking.
B. Being "for kids" is never a viable excuse for poor writing.

Without having played it yet, my only real complaints about A Link Between Worlds, just based on what I've seen, is that the LttP sound effects are completely unnecessary, save for nostalgia's sake, which half the kids playing the game won't understand, and also LORULE? Princess HILDA? Seriously?

No matter how good the ending was, no matter how much fun I had, Lorule and Hilda are still stupid names.

So a few pages back I posted a friend of mine's drawings of Ganondorf being adorable. I believe someone issued her a challenge?

Well, she accepted; http://cutie-toes.tumblr.com/post/68221 ... -yours-can

My god, they're all adorable…even Majora's Incarnation…

Your friend wins this round. But mark my words, I will find a character that cannot possibly be made cute. Someday...

I liked the names Lorule and Hilda.

Yeah, it's a pun, but Nintendo's been pulling this shit for years.

Hell, A Link to the Past has one in the name.

Ain't no pun, it's a play on words.

Thing I don't like about the names is that I just can't take em seriously, like, at all. That's not necessarily always a bad thing. There are plenty of non-serious elements in all the Zelda games. It's just that that seems like a pretty big thing to not be able to take seriously for me.

It's been pretty much guaranteed for about a year.

They've said they'd be launching it only after they made an original Zelda game for the 3DS. I'd imagine an announcement about it sometime early next year. Maybe January?

To be honest, I never really liked the name "A Link to the Past" either. I always preferred Triforce of the Gods. I'm obviously not against puns, but there are times and places for them. "Lorule" isn't even remotely clever.
