It'll be a little more like a spinoff than an adaptation. Something that draws from the elements already established in the vast Homestuck universe, applied more selectively to a shorter, self-contained story. Homestuck's structure is very open, which suits a highly exploratory piece of freeform media with a huge cast and many silly tangents. This game would be a more formal exercise in interactive storytelling. I'll use elements from Homestuck that I think will be interesting to expand upon in something new, likely with minimal relevance to Homestuck comic canon. Beyond that, things are pretty up in the air as far as plot and characters go. I have some ideas, but the concept will be a work in progress for a good while.

Hussie explaining the adventure game, it's probably not going to be what you hope, luro.

which is good because ending homestuck with a plug for the homestuck game would be the absolute worst way to end anything in the history of mankind

Yeah, it'd be the same if a video game would progress normally and when you're close to the end, you'd get a message that you need to buy the DLC to see the ending.

Yeah I worded that badly, but I meant like, you make your own ending for your own adventure.

I just realized something. There will never again be a flash in Homestuck as powerful to me as Cascade was. The moment when everything simultaneously hit the fan, back when got tier was a huge deal, when Lord English was still a terrifying demon, and everything was setting up for the climax.

That was two years ago.

I've already been disappointed with how Jack Noir was dealt with. He was such a serious threat that they had to RESET THE FREAKING GAME, and now he's just....there when he needs to be, I guess. Seriously wasted potential.

He's also not even a threat anymore to most of the characters.

The guy who killed an entire universe, broke the rules of the world-creation game, and attained nigh-omnipotent power over reality, is not even a threat anymore.

Land of Fans and Music 3 is out!

Waveform and Explore [Keygen Mix] were made by NDividedByZero, and Ycobb did the cover art for Waveform.
