I tried to masuda method and got to a whole party of eggs before I couldn't deal with the monotony.

The tragic love story of a girl and her blob.

Ya know, once Shinies become more common, they just stop being special.

So yeah, I probably won't be that excited if I get any shinies this generation.

You say until you get a shiny you like. :P

I noticed another thing. Trainer Pokemon have a much better type coverage this time around. I fought a guy with a Machamp who had Stone Edge and Earthquake, who would have totally wrecked both Aegislash and Talonflame if it hit.

Yeah, I hated the fight girl in reflection cave because her Throh and Hawlucha wanted to one shot my Braixen, Mothim, and Honedge. It's like "dude, calm down, this isn't even the third gym badge town yet."

Plus, fuck the Sky battlers with Emolga and Acrobatics.

Not terribly spoiler since I'm not much farther than you, but yeah, he's like 9 feet tall according to NPCs, so super weird.

Also, check all of the buildings on the North Boulevard. You'll thank me when you find out that you're not the one.

Wait, you can bring berries to a Battle Hall challenge? Dont they take the item away?

Yache is a held item berry. It makes the Pokemon holding it take half damage from the type the berry covers. Yache covers Ice-type so Garchomp will take half damage the first time it's hit (because the berry will be consumed).

Held berries also regenerate between battles.

Though I think tipping probably just boosts your fashion level which effects a lot of things (For example the guy who sells you kanto starter megastones lowers his price based on your fashion level) Maybe the shiny rate is effected by this too who knows.

I have the guide and I don't think that increases your fashion level. In fact, it doesn't seem to mention tipping despite mentioning a lot of shit that hasn't been mentioned before, like berry mutations.

The things it says to do to increase your prestige in the city are:

-Have an audiobook tour at the Lumiose Museum
-Make a PR Video
-Try the Loto-ID Lottery
-Get your hair did and your Furfrou trimmed
-Buy Juice and Galettes
-Take the cab, the Gogoat, and the train (post-game)
-Shop at the herb shop, stone shop, Pokeball shop, and boutique
-Have meals at all 4 restaurants (1 star, 2 star, 3 star, and sushi bar)
-Battle in the Battle Institute
-Help out at Hotel Richissime
-Talk to Alexa at the Lumiose Press

You need to do all of these to get the last O-Power and to get the Megastones down to 10K to buy.

I remember this girl

She somehow outsped my dedenne and bulldozed it then her hawlucha proceeded to almost wipe me.

At the time I had put my best pokemon is the PC so I could evolve some weaker mons and walked too far in and got into a fight. If it weren't for swagger/topsy turvy I would've been wrecked hard.

I did this too.

I was trying to get Bagon, Bunnelby, and Magikarp to evolve while some of my stronger Pokemon were boxed to let my weaker ones catch up.

I had to waste revives on that shit.

I also hated the double battle fight on the route before (Machoke and Mr. Mime) because the two good Pokemon I had were Helioptile (weak as fuck against fighting) and Goomy (Mr. Mime is immune to dragon).

That fight fucking sucked and I hate Mr. Mime forever.

I do enjoy the fact that Mr. Mime is native to caves.

Speaking of wonder trade, I traded 10 bred Swirlix on there.

I got mostly first route stuff (all of which was from people in the US and especially the UK, so no "goddamn Japanese players being assholes"), but surprisingly I got two Eevees. Only one Pokemon was nicknamed though.

I also got a Slowpoke, which was weird.

Caught a Gible and replaced my Gogoat with it. He's going to be another sweeper, though, so now I only have two pokemon with relatively good defense (I used to have Gogoat, Pancham, and Doublade as defenders with good attack].

My Charizard is a special attacker so I really wanted to give him a special flying type move but he's also the only pokemon in my team that can learn fly.

Well apparently the VS recorder lets you mock battle teams you've recorded a battle against. Seems pretty spiffy.

I REMEMBER THAT FIGHT TOO.
She defeated me though.

It's always the martial artists that almost destroy me, even though I have one pokemon that's immune and two that are resistant to fighting, just because they always carry everything that counters their weaknesses. Poison Jab for fairies, Stone Edge for flying, Bulldoze/Earthquake specifically for Honedge and his evolutions and Fennekin, probably dark moves for psychics and other ghosts too..

I had a Hawlucha and was overall not a shitty trainer like you guys so she didn't give me trouble.
I did get lucky a little bit ago, I had a Froakie that nobody on GTS wanted until I found some guy that was trading a Haunter for one. Suddenly Gengar and goodbye Lucario.
