Sketch of the week #2 is here! The theme was Star Wars, so I'm gonna remind you of these assholes. The ears were hard and there wasn't much reference on them so I kinda flubbed them.





I think it looks much better from the side view.

You might want to give your hand a look from the doc, there's no way that's healthy.

The pose doesn't really convey anything.

maybe it's just me but the anatomy on the lifted leg looks a bit wonky

Gotta say Stranger, I really like your style. I definitely dig it.

I think you should try out thicker (out)lines, sometimes it's really hard to distinguish forms from shading, or the characters from the background, as you usually always use the same line thickness.

I don't think thicker outlines would look that good; all they do is flatten the drawing and remind you that it's two-dimensional. I do think experimenting with line weight in areas would help, though (for example, thickening a line as it gets closer to the viewer, while the far lines stay thin).
