Headless Gold Pierce Statue: Sells for 1 million Bells at Re-Tail.

Hey guys! I want to apologize to you all, especially Cori, for writing a ridiculously difficult case. I wanted try and make you guys think about evidence that isn't apparent at first glance, mainly Pierce's physical features. I know Kamak tried to help you out with hints, but I can only imagine it was difficult to do that without giving away the whole thing.

Also that medicine theft threw me through a loop.

The case would have been a lot more straight forward if Punchy wasn't thrown in the middle of the case. But unfortunately I couldn't exactly say "No, you fools, you're following the wrong line of thought!" because then Whitney would probably look even more guilty since there'd be no basis for her to be drugged.

And then of course Punchy had to have used the medicine already so I had to reveal Nook's hand of messing around with the closets behind the scenes...;;

And The Mayor was a jerkface that wanted Pierce to win...

Next case should be a lot less of a mess~

Bear with me, the game isn't dead, but my old desktop wants to make a game of trying to get all of my files transferred over as it refuses to open e-mail and doesn't recognize flashdrives long enough to save files.

I have a work around for this but it might take a few hours to do.

Okay, so slight complication in that old desktop corrupted a few files. Such as my master file with GM stuff in it after 4 hours of trying to transfer it to an SD card overnight on Monday, so I've been reading back over the thread in spare time and making sure I'm not forgetting facts that might come up again later.

Other than that, I've been busier than usual, so update should happen soon.

I'm terribly sorry about any inconvenience but Jesus Christ, why is this happening?;;

"Aaahhh, still hot, still hot, still hot!" He takes off his shirt, wraps it around his wing, and drags the statue out of the building, causing a loud SCREECH to eminate from the tile.

Joe places the statue down in his living room, and thinks to himself, "When I get out of this town, I'm selling you to a museum. Sure, you may not have your head, but I'm sure we can get a more respectable head placed on there. Something that would make your death seem more dignified. Something that shows the amount of pride you held during your life or something like that. What is that smell?"

Joe sniffed at the air, and noticed that the scent was coming from inside the statue. "Mmm, how appetizing. Should I? Well, it should be fine as long as I leave a skeleton behind. Besides, this place would really start stinking up with all this meat just rotting here..."
