I really haven't been that excited to read Homestuck lately. Not really sure why.

You're not alone, it's basically the feeling of the entire fanbase that it's kid of stalling out.

Yeah, I want homestuck to wrap up soon. I hope Hussie doesn't purposefully stall out until the next 4/13, though knowing him, he might...or he might even continue beyond it.

Due to the fact that I only recently joined the homestuck community, I'm dreading the day when it finally ends.

Kind of hope it ends soon. I probably won't catch up on it until it does. Stopped reading after Lord English was explained, because he had been this scary, omnipotent, mysterious force who couldn't be stopped through normal means.Then things went Phantom Menace and they showed him as a kid, as a definable entity, as someone who was neither god-like nor demon. He was now defined with specific strengths and weaknesses.

Kind of took the thrill out of it. Finding a way to circumvent the wrath of a godly being who has always existed and would crush anything in direct combat? Hell yes that's a riveting story. Learning that he's just a mortal (sort of) who gained power and can be defeated by someone who can match his type of power? It soured the whole thing.

While now we know (part of) his origin story, he's still a force of nature. Heck, even right now, he's a ridiculously stubborn godtier lord of time, which means that he can just bend the alpha timeline to his will, and the alpha timeline will put in several fixed points in time to ensure things unfold exaclty as he wants. His power over time is so strong that he managed to plot his own birth and rise to power. He's still a godly being, now we just know that he's a childish asshole... which fits the gnostic parallels homestuck has been quietly making for a while
