AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Actually I'm going to retcon something in my previous post. I don't want to wait for Terra to come online for now


Whitney had almost made it back to the crime scene when she recalled Punchy's actions earlier--or rather, his lack of action. It seemed like talking to the cat would be useless, he would probably either be asleep or just lie. She wanted to go and see his home for herself.
She returned to Punchy's house and entered quietly. Her eyes went wide when she noticed the sealed medicine bottle. "...how odd," she remarked. "He didn't even use it."

Pierce notices Whitney enter and sighs.

"So it's back to square one, then. We still don't know how you were knocked out last night."

"It wouldn't have made sense anyway," Whitney sniffed haughtily. "I wasn't even near Punchy yesterday."

"So what do we do now?"

"I don't know," Whitney snapped. "No one else has been helpful. It's like they don't even care."

"Well, I think just about everything that needs to be investigated has, upupu."

"Except some of you bastards are hiding essential evidence."

"Namely these."

Tom Nook holds out the partially torn and crumpled map, the bloody shovel, and a set of keys belonging to Cranston.

"All of these were found at Whitney's house, though, why would Pierce and Whitney try to hide them from the rest of you? Perhaps one of them is a murderer."

"And the fact that someone, according to Whitney at least, is going around drugging people? Well, I certainly can't allow that to happen. It'd cause madness."

"So... it seems we have two suspects... So let's lock 'em up!"

Like with Joe the other day, cages materializes out of the ground around Whitney and Punchy. The two cages are carried off to Town Hall.

"I expect you bastards to be there soon. The day has gone on long enough as it is."

Pierce's eyes widen as Whitney is dragged away.

"No! You can't do this! She isn't a murderer!"

"Well, we'll find that out during the trial, won't we, you bastard? Upupupupupupu~"

Lucky heads to the courthouse.
I have some testimony stuff from my skill I need to give but right now it doesn't seem like the right time so I'll tell it when it's good.

Lucky you are the worst at waking someone up.


Joe stretches and yawns before getting out of bed.
"Time to wake up and start the day- Oh crap, it's already 4 in the afternoon, I've gotta get it together."
Joe leaves his house and heads on over to the plaza.

I'm alive! Sort of. I'll be popping in here and there during the trial, at the very least.

A rather ill looking Coco emerges from her house at the sound of the siren. With a groan, she stumbles off to do a quick look around before the trial.

Trial Time

The doors to the Town Hall swing open and everyone takes their places. Isabelle is already at her podium and has set up places for all of the disceased members. Whitney and Punchy are also here, handcuffed to their podiums. Nook overlooks things in the mayor's chair.

"So, you bastards are ready to find out who killed the Town Saint?"

"Be careful, you might get too used to being in this room, upupu~"

"Okay everyone, let me know when you're ready, and we can begin, perhaps with a scenario?"

"Unless of course one of you have another point to discuss first?"
