All right here's how this goes peons

The competition is a simple one. Each match will consist of however many people with to participate. At the beginning of each match, a theme will be gleefully announced and your job as participants will be to take a photo that most accurately (or hilariously or whatever) evokes that theme. For example, if I told you the theme of the photo was poop, and Spoony posted a perfectly candid picture of himself he would be crowned president of the forum due to how much he would win.

There are a few rules which I will explain in but a moment, but the most important rule is that you have a buncha stupid fun and not take the competition to seriously. What is more important than winning is sharing your goofieness or photo taking talent with your fellow zombies and havin a gay old time!

Now let's get down to brass tacks:
-The photo cannot by any means, depict anything graphic or of a mature nature (like any manner of sexual organ, any disgusting shit or anything you wouldn't show a person under 17 if a cop was around) Basically just go by the rules of the forum when taking your photos or doing any photo manipulation

-Photoshop is allowed to be used to edit photos. HOWEVER, I do not want to see people, like, cutting out their heads and pasting it into some other picture like "lol here's my pic guysz" because that is boring and dumb. You can tweak your appearance and background and things like colors, putting in certain objects, and junk like that, but I would rather see more genuine things than completely computerized crapola. If you feel your photo may be too heavily edited or something, run it by me (or whoever has chosen the photo theme)

-The picture must be one that you have taken. By no means does the photo have to include you (unless that is a parameter of the theme) but it must be TAKEN by you. If you have any friends who wish to help you, or other AZers who have something they wish to do to help you, then that is totally cool, as long as you submitted photo was taken, at least in part, by you

-You will have three days, beginning from when the new theme is announced, to complete your photo and send it to the photo-master for evaluation and acceptance. If you don't think you'll be able to complete your photo in that time-frame, then just tell the photo-person and they will decide from there. Also you can enter it early, but all voting will take place once the time is up

-The winner of each Photo-Battle will be crowned Photo-Master and will select the next theme. The Photo-Master can participate in his or her own battle, but cannot win (so as to eliminate repeat PMs)

-Any forumite may vote, even if they are not participating. Votes are sent to the Photo-Master who will tally and announce the votes and winners. Again, don't take it super seriously. If you win, then great! If you lose it ain't cause errone hates you it's just the way it worked out pull up them drawers and try again sonny

That's all I have for rules for now. If anyone has any other ideas for rules or any questions or thinks a rule sucks, PM me or comment in this thread and let me know. Otherwise, sign-ups will now begin. I will update this post with the list of participants, and entries will end on Wednesday. At which point I will announce a theme (or tomorrow actually we'll see)

Can a PM pass on the title to someone else if they win?

Like if they win but don't want to pick the next theme and want to compete? Yeah They can do that, and the PM status will go to the runner up

Am I allowed to post photos without joining the competition? just to participate?
I ask because I don't want to junk up your contest if I'm not actually contesting for anything

I ain't got no monopoly on silly shit, but it's not like you have to be a master photographer to compete. Hell compete is too strong a word. I'd just say it's more of a game.
