I lure him to the instakill every time because the developers enabled that method and I am not above cheapshotting a boss.

Oh wow dang never posted here bout this game

My friend lended me DS several months ago and was all like "Play this shit it's amazing" and at first I was hesitant because it did not seem too special and also it brought the Elder Scrolls games to mind (which I do not like very much at all. Specially Skyrim I must say) so I was just like eh I'll give it a shot.

Turns out this has actually become one of my all time favorite games just from the way it's crafted, the gameplay, and the awesome lore. It really feels like a very genuine and expertly executed game, which imo is hard to come by these days from bigger developers.

Currently on NG+ at Anor Londo. Tryin to beat super pikachu so I can get his ring and armor.

I actually had like zero trouble with the Four Kings. In fact the only parts of the game that really bothered me at all were the Archer segment in Anor Londo (loved that whole level regardless) and Tomb of the Giants (which I p much just ran through hella fast)

And lol Malum you'd kick the everloving shit outta me. I don't think I've beaten a single PvP player online as of yet.

If you're having trouble wear havel's armor and stay real close to the kings.
Use power within too, watch your health though.

The problem is they spam their AoE/Grab attack. And when I try to roll out of the grab, they dash and get me anyway

My rage is so strong right now I should cosplay a Sith lord

Staying real close is your best option but not with Havel's. It's got poise up the booty but if you're stompin' forward slowly then their attacks are still gonna do a bunch of damage. You get the timing right however and you can midroll through a lot of their attacks. What you want is to be able to get close quickly when they show up and back the fuck up quickly when they start their magic shit. If you have the Grass Crest Shield, that has decent enough magic protection with the stamina boost. Get that, equip Havel's Ring, get the best poise you can get with a midroll. I have noticed that Elite Knight chest, with Havel's arms and legs, and the gold-trimmed hood actually provide a nice bit of poise and magic resistance, while still being pretty nicely within midroll.

However, I usually have high END builds, so generally I'm looking at heavier weight anyways. If you've got lower END, go fast roll with highest possible magic resistance, and instead of Havel's equip the Wolf ring. Do a bunch of practice runs to get the timing on their swings down. It'll take a while, but you can usually chip them down over time. The only problem with that is chances are you'll be facing a fight with more than one, but generally if you're pressed up against one of them the others will hang back.

FINALLY AGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

I had to get a Lightning Gargoyle's Halberd +4 and wear fastrolling stuff in order to beat the Four Assholes

I have now proceeded to faceroll Ceaseless Discharge, Demon Firesage and Centipede Demon without any trouble

Oh you should have gotten fire. Much more damage, but yay you beat 'em. Every other boss is easier.
