I'm neither pro life or pro-choice. I think the individual should have the choice to choose what to do, yes, but I sure don't think that killing the child is a good solution.

personally, i don't really care for humanity. One less carbon-footprint making human born, especially under messed up circumstances like not even being wanted by their own parents, isn't gonna mess up the world.

Pro Choice doesn't mean Pro Abortion. It means you want to give people the CHOICE to choose whether or not to have one.

Personally I probably wouldn't have one, but it doesn't mean I'm going to walk up to someone and tell them they have to have one, or can't have one.

It's your thing living in your body.

do what you want with it.

until it leaves your body that is.

I guess I just have a bigger soft spot for humanity.

Sure it's alive. But it's no different from any of the other cells in your body at that point.

Ever scratch your nose? Nod your head? You've killed the equivalent of hundreds of "babies" with that one movement.

People who think that a two-celled organism is a human, don't understand what cells are.

But do your body cells in your nose, your head or elsewhere that aren't reproductive cells have the capacity to turn into another separate living being with it's own cells in it's body?

I said earlier, I think of them as cells that have the potential to grow into life and be another human. I just have a high value for life, no matter how small or how underdeveloped it is because it has the potential to grow into something amazing.

I'm aware of biology and I was awake in my health class. I just view the fertilized cells differently than you. I guess you can say, my views of this are driven by my love for humanity and my religious-ness.

Yes, if they are cultured. It's called cloning.

I don't think you understand. For one, cloning a living being isn't easy peasy and its still experimental.. Second, that isn't even related to giving actual birth to a child. That, and if you were to actually clone a living being, it'd be the same biological age as the person you cloned.

So, no. It is not the same.

I'm going to quote Dark for my reply to that Karilyn.

Quote:
Because cloning is so fucking simple and its done ALL THE TIME
people are just cloned here and there like babies are born

And it's totally natural to clone a full human being, just like giving birth!
:pseudo:

It's close enough. But you also forgot unethical.

I still dare anyone to try and argue that my picture at the top of the page is a human being. It simply isn't. A hunk of genetic material with no form is not a person.

A human life is defined by their individual mind.
