AWKWARD ZOMBIE

After hesitating for a second, Punchy reaches and grabs the Yo-Yo.

"Let's get going, then, sport."

They walk to Diana's house and Pierce begins investigating.

And what do we find, Tom Nook?

Pierce questions Diana while he searches.

"When did you notice your tool kit was missing?"

Cranston, just about to take a look at the body, sees Punchy's decision. "Are you sure about that? I mean none of these seem very useful but somehow that seems the least useful..."

Using the dialogue to distract himself, Cranston takes a closer look at the body. A squawks out in small surprise, continuing on straight from his last thought. "Well, I thought the shovel caused this hit in the back of his head, but it actually looks like he got hit falling. Have there been any other places with blood? For that matter, whose shovel is this?"

"Somehow, I think that it will come in handy one day..."

"Well, the easiest way to find that out is to see who doesn't have a shovel. Everyone who has it, get it out," Punchy says, pulling out his shovel.

"Bud's shovel was missing from his room," Whitney said. "I think it's safe to assume that this is his shovel." She glanced at the items Nook was offering. "...the plaster!" she exclaimed. "You might be able to use the plaster to make casts around the area and see if there are any footprints!"

"Perhaps I can investigate the area of the body. Perhaps there are footprints, something lost in the struggle, or perhaps the body was moved and there's a trail."(Is there a way to investigate the blood found on him?)

"A little after 8 PM, when I got back for the evening. I saw it almost immediately. I nearly turned the place upside-down for it, but like I said, the bone was where I put it last.
I went outside to try and look around, but it was already dark by then. I h-heard...something? It sounded like someone yelling...then I ran back in." Diana cleared her throat, looking uncomfortable. "I really hope we can find the toolkit, I wanted to finish unlocking that book before..." She looked down at the ground, muttering, "before this."

"All right. And when was the last time you saw it, sport?"

"I put it in my house once Whitney and I parted ways after unlocking the first lock." She knit her eyebrows. "It's odd...I thought the houses couldn't be broken into?"

Pierce grimaced.

"That's a pretty big time period, hawkeye."

He continued searching Diana's house for clues.

"The mayor has a master key, I think. Or Nook, it might have been one of them."

((is punchy suddenly in diana's house or something?? i thought he was at the crime scene.))

"Is that so? Hmm...."

Pierce decides to inspect Diana's door for signs of damage.
