AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Cranston jumped to the engine car, trying to pry it open.

"Here, let me try, rookie. I found a crowbar in one of the cars."

Joe goes around looking for an spot in the ground that looks like it may have been disturbed with a shovel recently.

"Let pull it together, we gotta save the little dude inside!" Bud begins to pull will all of his might trying to pry the door open.

Punchy sits alone on the bench, lost in his thoughts.

Back at the ocean, Diana paced along the sands, glancing out over the horizon. After a short while, she stopped her walking.

"Coco, Octavian, we'll get nothing done by standing around. I'm beginning to think there may just be something hidden under our feet...let's get our shovels, shall we?" She had a disarming smile, hands behind her back.

Coco nods enthusiastically. "I might find two more, and complete the set, doroing!" she says, hopping off towards her house to retrieve her shovel.

ahh! The water felt so good as Octavian slid his way into the blue depths. "I'll check the river bottom, sucker," He tooted energetically "you two keep digging. I'll meet you down by the rivers' mouth." His light red head disappeared below the surface with a quiet splash.

Sorry for the delay. Been away from the computer for most of the day~



You search the trashes to no avail. You can't even locate the charred steaks from breakfast. Perhaps there's another way to dispose of things in this town...



Joe searches the whole town and sees no evidence of disturbance. It seems Tom Nook didn't even bury the corpse in town, though then again, after this morning, would you expect him to? Maybe there's something on the beach though?



It is eerily quiet and you are all alone. Good thing it's not dark or you'd be eaten by a grue.

Ocean Team

Coco and Diana dig around in the sand of the beach and discover nothing much besides seashells, the odd crab, and a few rusty coins and bottle caps. I guess the beach isn't as pristine as the rest of the town.

Octavian's diving results in finding what look like oil drums on the lake bottom and not much sealife in that general area. When Octavian goes to surface near the river mouth, he notices something interesting looking in the distance underwater in the ocean that's hard to make out, but it's beyond the limits of the buoys marking the outer-reaches of the town.

Train Team

The three guys work to pry open the engine car, and the crowbar becomes pretty handy in getting good leverage on the wreckage. Finally the door flies open, and a horrible sight unfolds in front of you.

In the engine-room, partially crushed by the wreckage and with dried blood all over his face is Porter, the train conductor.

"Thank goodness someone finally came... eek... eek... *cough*"

"There's someone in here!"

Pierce hurriedly throws rubble aside.

Punchy finally gets up.
"What am I doing? I have to help the others!"
Reinvigorated, Punchy dashes back into town, but comes to a screeching halt at the train tracks.

"B-but... I could be murdered by any one of them..."
Puffing up his chest, Punchy steps back into town.

Where else could it be? It could be in his house, but I probably shouldn't go in. I'm not looking to die. He could have given it to one of the various other people in this town. But who?

Train Team

The team clears out the rubble around Porter, only to find that his lower half is trapped under twisted metal. It's likely that he's too crushed to escape from the train, and may not last much longer.

"You... you're the villagers I was transporting, aren't you, eek eek?"

He seems a bit frantic despite his weakness.

"Quick, you need to get out of this town. Despair is closing in fast! I thought we could get here before them, but they beat us to it."

"Most of all, look out of the Super High Mayor Level Despair! They were amongst you the whole time! You know them as-"

Before he could speak any further, a sharp metal-on-metal sound is heard, and Porter's head rolls off his body.

Looking up, you see Tom Nook standing there, with a bloody shovel in hand.



"Oops, I was trying to help dig him out, but I guess I missed, upupu~"

"It was for the best though. He knew too much, and that can't be allowed."

Porter's severed head continues to move a bit, trying desperately to send a message, but without lungs, no sound will come out of his mouth. Soon, he finally expires in front of you.

"Well then, I guess my job is done here. Be sure to clean up! It's almost dinnertime, and I have a special treat for you bastards, upupu~"

With that, Tom Nook leaves.

"I'm starting to not like this dude..." Looking back at the head then shuddering before quickly walking away from the scene to furter investigate the car he was trapped in.
