The overworld of Seasons is divided into regions. Using the Rod of Seasons changes the season until you leave the region you're in. So no, it's not just one tile, it's an entire mountain, or city, or forest, or whatever you happen to be in when you use it.

Granted, I think the Harp is used a little more than the Rod, but I felt the Rod's mechanic was a lot more interesting. Plus, let's not forget Tarm Ruins, where the Rod is used to its fullest extent. God, I love that place.

The harp is a musical instrument. Naturally, in any Zelda game, any will usually be one of the most used items.

And the main item that the game focuses on eventually falls onto one of the items you use least.

WHY WOULD I USE THE MASTER SWORD IF I HAVE THIS 6-FOOT LONG BLADE THAT HITS TWICE AS HARD?

Because in the Oracle games, the Master Sword is awesome and the Biggoron Sword sucks all kinds of booty.

I Biggoron Sword'd the hell out of everything as soon as I got it. It was awesome.

More power to you; I couldn't stand it. I can't stand slow weapons, and that weapon was slow as hell. In the time it took to swing it once, I could use the Spin Ring to get off a spin attack from the Master Sword, plus shoot a sword beam in the process.

True story incoming:

Was playing Pokemon White and it said the season was Winter, I thought "The hell, it's summer", but paid it no mind after that. Then, after healing at a Center, the season switched to Spring, then Summer. "Cool, it's correcting itself." I thought. Then....Autumn. "It......passed it." I thought, remembered this comic from yesterday, and laughed.
