I like the initial idea for the show actually, even the lolita sort of style of the characters because its different and unique.

But I see this kind of "new unique" little girls shows happen all the time and it stops being unique at all.

Also them all having the same body shape sort of freaks me out , and some other things freak me out too, like the bad voice acting.

I think also that the designs of the characters are way to much to take in. It must have looked good still on paper but with animation you need to keep things simple.

New Venture Bros. Season premiered yesterday. It was great and set the stage for a whole new season of antics.

Hub has a show called Shezow now. It's about a boy who turns into a girl superhero. I think it's pretty good, great for all ages and for boys and girls. My little brother likes watching it with me.

Rereading my Hellboy collection.

Pancakes ranks up there as my third favorite story, next to Almost Colossus and Universal Machine (although that one is BPRD)

The Corpse will always remain my favourite Hellboy story. It's short and sweet and shows what he's up to when he isn't fighting more "cosmic" threats.

Read through the first Batman Black and White album I bought the other day, lots of interesting artwork. One of my all time favorites, A Black and White World by Simon Bisley is included, its part of what inspired me to draw.

That's actually one of the better parts of the story which I liked. I don't think it needed twelve parts - the story feels kinda... stretched at this point (and there's still five more parts to go). Mega Man also keeps making remarks about how Sonic 'never stops down'/'never takes a break' and stuff like that - which would be fine except he does it with what I can only describe as a... um... lusty grin on his face.

It's all a bit too homoerotic for my tastes:

Jeezus Rock; Stop checking out Sonic's ass.

I didn't ask for this.

Also, this cover:

There's something not quite right about it...

Great job on the face there, Spaziante.

No... wait... actually... I think you fucked up.

Dammit I keep missing issues of Sonic Universes crossover, I might have to order them...

Anyways, the part where Bass explains in detail to Metal Sonic about the Chaos Devil was weird.

"It's the Chaos Devil, it doesn't know friend from foe!"

It just sounds like something out of a cheap 1980's superhero show.

The ending skit was funny though.

Anyone read Blacksad? I just finished the first big collection and A Silent Hell, it's a beautifully done comic.

They changed Ben 10 like, a million fucking times.
And yet it's still really really great.

I actually saw a new episode of that stupid teen titans go show, dear god what happened to it.

I've got the whole boxed set. I find Blacksad is one of the best contemporary European comics, with both gorgeous art and good writing.
