I'd imagine it would feel somewhat like a heart attack since the bender probably isn't ensuring the blood flows normally, which deprives the heart, which then simulates a heart attack.

There's also that it looks like the blood alone is being controlled.

Meaning when a bloodbender moves someone, they're only moving the blood, and the entirety of the person's body is just being dragged along.

Which honestly doesn't sound like a very pleasant thing.

But.... isn't bloodbending the act of bending all the water inside living things and not just the blood? If it was just the blood, I'm pretty sure it would be a far more lethal technique.

When someone does bloodbend, I doubt that they'd have the courtesy to ensure the blood continues to circulate in the victim's body. Still leads to the outcome Madican pointed out where you would feel as though you were having a heart attack.

Well it's not really just blood. The circulatory system is heavily intertwined with all parts of the body, you couldn't cleanly separate it from the skeletal or muscular systems. And there are other fluids in the body that aren't blood.

I don't really know what I'm saying here except maybe calling it bloodbending is a little misleading and humans are all soggy and wet on the inside.

I know that blood is everywhere in the body, but not everything is blood.
Everything else, while it contains water, is significantly less of a liquid than blood.

It's mostly liquid after all.

I really do want to see more of different bending types being shown more potential. Waterbending is just this fucking swiss army knife, but Air and Firebending have like no other uses. Firebending has lightning but that's not really fire-y.

Think of it less as lightning and more of plasma, which fits nicely into the fire theme.

Doesnt Earthbenders also have metal bending? And I could see Airbenders being able to control the weather if theyre powerful enough

Couldn't airbenders vibrate the air and heatbend?

I feel like firebending could be taken down to the level of electron-bending or something, but maybe the world of Avatar isn't quite at that technological level to make use of that yet.

Unless maybe
what about uranium-bending

Assuming Firebending is, at it's core, basically bending energy (not like actual energybending, which seems to be souls) I could see something like radiation bending happening.

Airbenders really have the most variety in what they could do, because air is basically in everything. Water is more selective until much higher levels of bending, but airbending could bodaciously just use air to manipulate everything once the bender reached complete mastery. An airbender could bend water, because water contains oxygen and air bubbles. They could bend rock by breaking it up with airflow, and then hovering it and tossing it. Theoretically, they could bend fire as well, though not directly like firebenders, they'd need a source.
