It isn't. It's just a skill that allows units to get a bonus turn if they kill a unit.
It's useful for hit-and-run tactics and for Story Mode, but useless in meta. Katie's just being overly Scrub.

Sounds like it'd also be useful for overbuffing one unit and then using them as a tank. Kill, extra turn, kill, end turn (guessing it doesn't endlessly stack or it'd be way op at least in story because one unit could conceivably kill an entire missionsworth of units), rinse repeat.

Swap Lissa for Sully and Aptitude/Galeforce/Counter with Aptitude/Armsthrift/Sol/Galeforce.

Marrying Donny or his kid is a really bad idea unless you're planning on ruining Morgan's stats with hilariously bad caps. Really, Donny's bad for every possible kid despite having the almighty galeforce gene (except Nah, who you probably wouldn't recruit anyway, and Kjelle who sucks anyway).

Which is a crying shame because Donny's hair color looks great on everyone.

You're not supposed to marry Donnel for the caps. You're supposed to marry him to someone because his manseed passes down the godly combination of Sol/Armsthrift/Galeforce onto ladies who can't get it on their own, which pretty much means that he almost always gets married for Noire/Nah/Kjelle.

Donnel!Kjelle's also special because she's the most versatile unit in the game, gaining access to 14 different end classes. Donnel!Noire makes for a good Dark Flier support, although she really can't be a frontline Sorcerer since she's without Vantage (Stahl!Noire and Gregor!Noire get a slight edge because of that, and Nosfertanks/Aversatanks don't really need Galeforce anyways.). Donnel!Nah has surprisingly nice caps, though her speed gets butchered which is kind of a shame. On the other hand, Donnel!Nah gets all the right tools to tank with Armsthrift/Sol/Galeforce/Deliverer, though Armsthrift is somewhat useless on a Manakete.

Those aren't accessible for most of the game (only right before the last level), so not everybody wants to wait that long. Also, waiting to marry a second generation results in better stats than marrying a first gen, if my memory's correct.

I usually reclass my female Morgans into Sorcerer anyways, so I wouldn't gain anything from Shadowgift. Also, Morgan with white hair? No thank you.
