AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Since I'm currently on two kicks, on involving musicals, the other involving a certain popular, crossover fanfiction, I figured it would be best to mix the two in a little adventure thread, which could go on for a while now that I have free time, and I'll continue my other abandons projects in the following months, Sprite adventures and Sims included.

It was a dark and stormy night, although this night was darker than it usually was. You had just escaped from being shot for a crime you did not commit by jumping onto the first boat you saw at the docks. After haggling with the boat's owner on a compensation suitable enough that did not involve you emptying your entire backpack for him. You are left with the essentials, the clothes on your back, and the extra set of clothes you have just in case. As you set your pack on the one empty seat you find, you look back at the mainland. You muse that this is a new start. A new life. You swear that where this boat takes you, you will use your clean slate as best you can. At this point, you think that nothing could possibly go wrong.

Then you have a gun pointed at the back of your head. Your new life is turning out great.

Unluckily, your boat is being robbed. You are told to lay down on the deck and not move, which you do. While the boat-jackers go through your fellow passenger's belongings, you hear a faint beeping. You see the old stallion you had pulling out a rifle-like device, which he promptly fires at one of the thieves, who melts into a pile of glowing dust. That's when the gunfight started.

You are unsure as to how it happened, but somehow, an explosive was dropped and, as explosives do when they are not handled properly, exploded, putting a hole in the bottom of the boat and sending it into the irradiated ocean, with you and several other Equestrians with it. Despite your best attempts to stay dry, the boat sends you into the water, and with it, the burning of radiation fills your body. It isn't long before you black out...

You awaken, shockingly, to the smooth voice of a young stallion. Your insides still feel as though you have been fed into a furnace inside a volcano. With difficulty, you open your eyes, but your vision is too impaired to make out a face. You are only just able to make out a voice, "Cripes, Kid. You look worse than I do." There is a brief moment of silence before your mystery savior picks you up. "Let's find you a doctor. Not sure what they'd do, but I don't wanna be a coroner tonight, Kid." As the motion of walking and the stallion's crys for a doctor enter your senses, your vision fades again as you black out once more...

You awaken once more, to your own surprise, as light assails your eyes. You groan and rub your eyes as an older voice, also of a stallion, comes from the corner. "I'll be damned. They actually pulled through." As you start to sit up, you look around. You have woken up on a plush bed, inside what seems to be a well furnished hotel room, except there is a cell door partially hidden by curtains instead of a regular wooden door. You see a white stallion approach you from a chair in the corner of the room, his black spots becoming clearer when he comes closer. The stallion shifts his glasses up the bridge of his nose as he takes a closer look at you. You see an odd metal device around his left foreleg, but he speaks before you can inquire. "You've been through a lot, friend. Took more radiation than anypony should take in three lifetimes." He explains as he checks the aforementioned device for something. "But your lucky stars must be shining somewhere, because you're looking as fit as a fiddle." He says, a hint of pride behind his voice. "Now, I had to pump you full of Rad-Away and what not before I could even touch the injuries you had, and I don't particularly know what this kind of dosage does to somepony. So I just need to make a quick check, just to make sure everything is working like it should."

"Let's start with something simple. Do you remember your name? Surely you've got a name."

You give the doctor pony a negative response, he huffs silently and continues his check up. "Shame. Shame. Maybe you'll think of one eventually, Friend." The horn on his head glows grey as he floats a mirror into your hooves. "I did a little bit of cutting open to make sure the insides got enough Rad-Away as well, the important insides anyway. I'm no expert in putting parts back together, but I think I did alright. Right?" As the doctor asks, you look into the mirror to find yourself staring back at you.

There is a chunk of meat on each on your flanks. Your memory is fuzzy on the day your Cutie-mark appeared, but you can assume it involves meat somehow. The lack of wings and a horn indicate you are a pony of the earth. Nothing special, but you can be one sturdy stallion.

You pass the mirror back to the doctor, who holds up the device for you to see. "I went ahead and clocked your vitals into my Pip-Buck here. I'm no expert on you, so you had better see if these readings are right." You look at the white screen and read the following:
