I haven't played since the steam pipe update.

It could've been me, but I was seeing a bit of a stutter when I played on Steampipe's first day. Didn't stop Hightower Spy from being fun, though.

actually, i do remember a maps texture breaking at one point on upward tho, you could see through the floor and there was one spot in the room that looked like all white lines were converging too

Steam crashed when it tried to update TF2 after the steampipe update. Haven't tried since.

So I was playing a match on Junction, and this Solly on Red Team came in and sat on one of the points while being completely, indefinitely, übered w/o a medic. Hacks much?

There's some hack like that where the medic can stay in spawn and keep the guy ubered indefinitely.

So I've tried to get tf2 to update with the steampipe thing twice now. First time I don't know how much HD space I had left but it was probably around 10GB, steam says there is not enough space and the update fails. Still my HD is now somehow full. Not being sure how much space was available before I clear some stuff off, freeing 5GB and try again. Same story and my HD is now full again. I'm sick of this fucking bullshit and I'm just going to uninstall and hopefully never get the urge to play this buggy piece of shit again.

Syobon, you can stand to lose a few gigs of pony porn, trust me. What you could do is uninstall TF2, and then REINSTALL the steampipe version. You didn't think of that? And if your converting to steampipe, I think I told everyone not to fuck with steam while it's converting. It may look like it's locked up, but its actually thinking. Go take a shit, a nap, go look outside, you might notice a new tree/subdivision/moon has popped up that you never noticed before, just don't friggen touch it-.-.

Yeah thanks, I thought of that myself but I've decided it's no longer worth the bullshit. It couldn't even properly uninstall and I had to manually find and delete two tf2 folders with over 6GB of content each. Getting rid of it all freed up 27GB of space... wow this has to be the worst optimised game of all time.

Hienz, calm down.
Not everybody has a high-end rig, nor enjoys TF2 enough to screw with things like this.

mine's ten. Also I'm getting great ping now.

Mine also said 10 and I'm really curious how it arrived at that number because if I substract the 13GB that it didn't delete when I hit uninstall there is still still 14GB of freed harddrive space left.
