Okay. I guess my RPG intuition was correct. Why do RPGs always have a point of no return?

Also finally got around to cleaning up the Luna moon base. I got my prestige class at level 42 ha ha.

yeah virmire isn't the endgame just yet

every ME game has a very clearly defined "alright this is the last stage do everything first" endgame, where they spell it out for you repeatedly

Well there is a certain point where you can't go back to the citadel but you can still do galaxy side quests.

Welp, Virmire's done.

So long Ashley.

I chose to leave her on you guys' advice that Kaidan is cooler later on, even though I actually liked Ashely more than Kaidan I think. (Then again, I have only talked to Kaidan like once because I wanted to avoid getting in a relationship with him.)

Also I think the "no more Citadel" point is coming up.

You killed her long before the dreaded redesign.

You could hear the ME fans shudder at the same time...

GUESS WHO JUST BEAT THE GAME

Here are some facts:

SCREW YOU UDINA I couldn't replace you fast enough.

As scary as they are supposed to be, I can't understand why the devs decided to make the Reapers look like cuttlefish.

And apparently taking Wrex out of my party for one mission caused me to miss getting his achievement. Oh no I guess I'll have to have him in my party again oh no...! I'm probably going to play again as a Renegade before I move on to ME2. Wrex in a Renegade party is probably awesome.

And in response to Ashley, I told her I believed in God just to see what she would say. Her answer was actually really good. Maybe Ashley is more of a jerk later, but she really didn't seem too bad to me.

Lovecraftian horrors are scary for way different reasons than resembling cephalopods.

Tentacles =/= instant scary in my book.

She really is.

ME2 has some circumstances that kinda alienate Ashley/Kaiden from Shepard. ME3 resolves this in a way. Kaiden admits his guilt in the matter and genuinely wants to put it all behind both of you.
Ashley still says it's your fault but whatever.

ashley isn't that racist, and when you get into her dialogue a bit she's not that bad of a person at all, but she definitely grows into one

also be kinda careful here, just as a warning, i dunno what you're gonna do
ME2 treats save data from the first game, and from subsequent NG+, as different characters and save data. Generally, it's less confusing to figure out if you just have two different characters. It's not particularly confusing either way, but I've known some people to import a character and go "oh shit this guy's wrong"

Yeah I figured. My Renegade guy is gonna' be a whole new character.

That's weird about NG+ counting as a separate save, though. So... I could kill/romance different people, and essentially retcon myself? Weird.

I think I'm going to look at some FAQs now, to make sure I don't miss the character loyalty trophies. This game wasn't really very hard to complete, but I want to make sure I don't mess up again.

Well yeah but that's what the reapers were very clearly modeled on. It's not the tentacles, it's being confronted with an ancient alien being totally beyond your comprehension that's scary.
