Geography Thread: Where the hell is Pierre?

The state of education for geography is dismal. So what better way to learn than to publicly humiliate yourselves.

Me and my friends decided to take a blank map of the US and start filling out the State names and capitals (and some of us tried to put the capitals where we thought they were, and after some funny results, I figured we could do that here. Maybe in the future we can move onto filling out other places, like Europe or Antarctica.

Anyways, there's two ways you can do this, you can either do it with absolutely no help, or, maybe if you're a foreigner, you can use a word bank of the capitals to help you out.

In any case, here's a nice big map you can fill out.

I'll update the first post with links to people's attempts if they feel like posting them.

So get at it and show people that you're smarter than the average Joe. Just getting all of the states right can be challenging enough.

Even after having it drilled into me in high school, I still can't remember all of the states and their locations

I also can't remember capitals whoops

I was trying to sing Fifty Nifty while doing this. Not that I learned the song in Elementary school. I only know parts of it from my big brother and friends who did learn it.
