Dark/Demon's Souls

I decided to start playing Dark souls again (I just keep putting this game down...not sure why, cause it's great). I'm now in Anor Londo. The enemies aren't too bad, but those two snipers have knocked me off the ledge now about 6 times. I'm starting to get kinda annoyed.

On another note, what level should I be for the painted world? I was thinking of going to it, but decided not too in case the enemies end up being too much for me.

60+, I was in my 70s when I went there.
Artorias is up next tomorrow. I also didn't realize that Sacntuary Guardian would be the first thing you encounter in the DLC, still beat him on my first try though.

Alright, good thing I didn't try it then. I'm currently SL 47. I got past the two snipers and just got the havel set.

Got to Lost Izalith.
Siegmeyer died in vain because I wanted to back him up but I didn't realize that there was blight-water down there so he died and then I died.

That's the best ending he gets, dying to save a friend, and proving himself as a knight.
If he survives the encounter, he either kills himself out of shame of not just forcing you to save him again but that he needed to be saved at all, or hollows at Ash Lake after his daughter tells him his wife's last words and then she is forced to kill him.
Leaving him there, as sad as it sounds, is the best way to honor him.

I still feel bad for dying like a chum right there, though.

Buff builds. Bah! I guess you simply want your opponents to dance around you for 60 seconds until it wears off. Buff builds are for dancing. You are lord of the dance.

why would i go for backstabs if i have lightning and bleed damage

besides i don't actually backstab fish unlike most people, as i've noticed a very high chance of it not working, so i tend to take a more reactive strategy
