They said something about it possibly being on next gen consoles. I'm pretty sure it will be on the PS4.

I think it would ne, since PS4 won't be backwards compatible.

It might eventually get ported but I don't know if it will happen on launch. Architecture of the PS4 is different and it will take a little getting used to.

It actually doesn't mean anything. Even if you leave the kiln and walk away, the First Flame is still burning, if only a little. All you've done is made sure it will burn out eventually.
And the curse of the undead is not something that has been stated can be cured by linking the fire. In fact, it's rather unlikely, as Gwyn was still burning even when the darksign first appeared and the undead came to be. If you do link the fire, all you're doing is prolonging it, but the conditions are exactly the same as when Gwyn linked it. Which means the darksign has little reason to vanish.

That's pretty much exactly what I said.

The Darksign will only go away when the Age of Darkness comes. The world of Dark Souls is cyclical, and goes from Light to Dark. Because Gwyn perverted the natural cycle by artificially extending the Age of Fire, time itself is going bonkers and creating multiple instances of the timeline like Solaire said when you first meet him. The Darksign is a manifestation of the Age of Darkness and empowers the Chosen Undead in the prophesy to be immortal so he can end Gwyn and the Age of Fire so things go back to normal.

There does seem to be a good chance that Dark Souls II is a prequel though. Maybe it's when the curse of undead first appeared, before they were all gathered and locked in the Asylum.

I think we have very different interpretations of the plot.

It's not really up to interpretation that no matter your choice the flame isn't quite done burning. That's laid out pretty specifically.

I haven't beaten the game yet so I can only assume dark souls 2 will continue the core plot of dying a lot.

It will be related to the world of Dark Souls but, I don't think it will be a direct sequel.
I haven't been so nervous about a sequel in my life. *Fingers crossed* Please be good!

Were the 4 kings supposed to actually deal damage? I could just go in and take hits because they dealt so little damage. What a pushover.
I even recorded it but of course dxtory had to be a bitch and only record a black screen (no pun intended).

The Four Kings can be easy your first time around depending on how you deal with them.
Treat them like a regular boss and they can destroy you.

But treat them like regular enemies each, and they become rather easy.

also the closer you are the less damage they do, they catch you at the very tip of their swords, you're gonna be hurting.
