I would suggest summoning someone if you can. Witch Beatrice if possible, but generally anyone being summoned can help a lot if they're able to do a lot of magic damage.

I'm a bit worried about the more than 3 weapons in the right hand slot because that might be a bit easy to abuse in PVP.
It seems like they're going back to the consumable item healing thing they had in Demon's Souls instead of estus flasks. Which will make me want to murder everyone in PvP ever.
Those graphics are fucking awesome, that lighting system was amazing.
The combat seems very similar to Dark Souls which is good, I was worried about that. The only thing I didn't like is that the axe swinging animation seemed very stiff and slow. Hopefully that'll get changed or explained.

They say in this video that Estus Flasks are still a thing in the game.
It also looks like those two tiny slots near the equipped item might be for showing you what rings you have equipped, which would be sweet.

Until they confirm a PC version that is not a barebones port, I'll be on my toes.

I'm pretty sure it's being run on a PC, most games are when they're announced. Even if there's no PC version.

I want to know more about the story. Whether the Light or Dark ending is canon. Though since the curse of the undead is still around I'm assuming Light, which means the gods are back in power now.

All it really means is that the canon chosen undead linked the flame or it's a prequel.
Maybe we'll get to learn more about Flann the Fire God that Gwynevere married?

It actually doesn't mean anything. Even if you leave the kiln and walk away, the First Flame is still burning, if only a little. All you've done is made sure it will burn out eventually.
And the curse of the undead is not something that has been stated can be cured by linking the fire. In fact, it's rather unlikely, as Gwyn was still burning even when the darksign first appeared and the undead came to be. If you do link the fire, all you're doing is prolonging it, but the conditions are exactly the same as when Gwyn linked it. Which means the darksign has little reason to vanish.

The thing with the first game is they basically had no idea what they were doing when they tried to port it themselves, few on the team actually game on the PC. So obviously they'll be a little more experienced this time around. Looks like they also got rid of Games for Windows Live, which is fantastic.

Fuck next gen systems. Hope I can play this on my PS2
