Well, yes, I'm aware, but how strong is the character-to-role connection here? Like, if someone claims a character, is it just a lighthearted bit of flavor or would this be suggesting enough of one's role to be a bad idea to go shouting this early in a mafia game.

All I'll say is that "bad" characters aren't necessarily scum and vice versa. Characters have varying levels of connection to their roles, and roles were picked based on character, while alignment was randomized. Claim at your own risk.

Edit BECAUSE I CAN: As far as I know, Dire is in the game

Ah, gotcha. Well, I was just asking to see if there was gonna be harmless fun related to who we all are, but nevermind, then, claiming roles this early in a mafia game is just silly.

So. First day. Lynching someone at this point is really just gonna be completely random, so it'd seem natural to go for a no lynch? I'm not officially voting yet, though; waiting to see what everyone else thinks.

i didn't want to seem like an ~impulsive decision-maker~ this early in the game but it's deciding not to lynch anyone on the first day like is that really that much of a decision

...because, to be honest, would we really even be in a mafia game? We would be just be a normal, functioning town until that first kill pops up...

...I mean...nobody's even been shot at to suggest there's a mafia.
