I should make of note, for fairness' sake, that it is mentioned that he was raised as a girl, but he's always referred to as a "he" and also like his name is totally a pun on "son" so the chances of him being trans are unlikely.

I'm pretty sure the rules say that you can not use two characters from the same series.

but bodaciously the entire rest of the game everywhere always does

always called a "he", especially in item descriptions

at no point does the game refer to him as a girl
they mention he was raised as one
but they never say he is one

Caused by the translation from japanese, the original voice acting is all english, Gwyndolin calls herself "mineself" in the cutscene when you start the optional fight.

actually the implication seems to be that gwyndolin is overly outcast from his father, being in tune with the moon and also apparently being part-snake-thing, and is raised as a girl as some kind of sick punishment. at no point does the game even really start to consider the idea that he's trans.

and i'm pretty sure that japan has, you know, words to describe male and female so i don't know where the translation issues come in

also mineself is gender neutral i don't know why you think it's an argument for him to be female, when he refers to himself in gender neutral terms, and then the rest of the game refers to him as a "he"
