Pretty sure the demons in Anor Londo do but who fucking cares?
Speaking of, I got one of them to drop their spear which I didn't know you could get, so that's neat.
Also, I'm at Biggs and Smalls so I'm probably going to have to co-op.

They can be soloed. Just concentrate on Ornstein using fire. Smough can then be killed with dung pies or poison arrows.

EDIT: These new filters amuse me.

So it seems Pikachu & Snorlax are up next. My Zweihänder +10 is ready, but my body isn't.

Also have some random gameplay footage I recorded as a test.

oh you'll be fine

get some fire resin and you'll fuck 'em both

ALSO always take out Smough first. Giant Smough is easy, but Regular Ornstein is rather hard with Regular Smough backing him up. Do co-op, get the guy to hold Ornstein back, kill Smough because he's a fuckin' pansy, then take care of Giant Ornstein because all of his attacks except one can be avoided by being directly under him.

anyways i fucked seath right in his crystalline asshole because +14 zweihander + lightning resin + 32 strength + havel helm, armor, gauntlets, and crimson dress = 1170 damage every hit to him, 200 damage every hit to me

now i have to go facefuck nito

i really wish the catacombs had like
more than one bonfire before the tomb of the giants

I was like ughhh do I really have to travel back to FS for some fire resins and then I realized I had 12 in my backpack.
Also there's a hidden bonfire near the bridge with the flying skulls in the Catacombs.

If you got the key, there's a shortcut from the top of sen's fortress to the bottom.

Not like it really matters because once you kill Quickshit and Fatlord you get the ability to warp between bonfires.

it's basically the best yeah

i'm not sure what qualifies a bonfire for "warp to" status though, it seems to be randomish? there's none to blighttown, but there's two for relatively close areas in the duke's archives

You may only warp to bonfires at which you have already rested
You can only warp to specific bonfires, but can warp from any bonfire with the exception of the Duke's Archives prison cell and the Painted World of Ariamis, even once you escape these areas.

i know that

i mean why can't you warp to some but you can to others, because it's not to make sure you don't just rely on it, because some let you warp a solid three feet

just seems weird

You can warp to almost every bonfire with a keeper, as well as several junctions as of the PTD edition and related patches. Most of the Warp-able bonfires are right in the middle of a bunch of important path, or somewhere in the lord dungeons.

Also BlightTown does kinda have a warp In Quelaag's Domain/the Daughter of Chaos room, since QD isn't really an area and BlightTown is right there.

I found that once I got out of the mind set "Dark Souls is the hardest thing ever." Mindset, it wasn't really that bad.

So I finally bought Dark Souls, went with thief because why not. And then I got my booty kicked by dark magic. Dodged the first way somehow.
Now is the time for grinding.

Grinding in Dark Souls is not an easy, or fun task.
Also Thief is a horrible class to start your first run with because you get the worst kind of shield. Ditch it once you get get something with 100% physical protection. Parrying and Riposte are not at all even slightly worth the lack of protection at any point.

edit: wait hold on what dark magic

where are you
