I prefer pranks that screw with people on a more psychological level. Something about "OMG this is really inconvenient!" pranks just kinda annoy me.

Sailor Moon still has no idea why I keep texting her "overthinking".

Mom started shouting weakly from the bedroom earlier today, saying something about a heart attack. I didn't fall for it, but she's pretty committed to the joke. She hasn't moved in like three hours, and her skin is even starting to change color. Must be some weird color-changing make-up.

My favorite April Fools prank to do is

POISSON D'AVRIL

It's this weird thing I learned in French class back in high school, where you make paper fish cutouts and stick them to people's back (without them noticing, but using an obvious paper color so other people can clearly see the fishiness). The joke part is to see how long the other person walks around with a fish on their back.

...it's not super exciting, but a few years ago a friend of mine stuck one on our biology teacher in 2nd period, and it was still there in 7th. I got to witness her reaction when someone finally pointed it out. Golden.

my teacher said that he brought brownies for our class

and he passed around a big tray with stacks of brown papers, cut out in E shapes
