And there are like, two in there.

I showed this sentence to several people because I couldn't figure it out. Only one of them was able to tell me what it meant, haha.
Guess I'm a bit slow.

Also summoned my first white phantom.
And encountered my first Red/Black phantom.

I love things like this.
I invaded a guy in Anor Londo. I try to always be respectful and bow to people. So, I bow. He doesn't. Instead, he just does the "beckon" expression. So I run up and one shot him with the notched whip. I respectfully bow again. Sure as the tide, 10 seconds later, hate mail.

And I guess people who invade don't scale with me? Since I seem to run into people who I do like, no damage to and who one shot me.

It was funny, I was in the forest area trying to defeat people so I'd get a fog ring, and I kept getting summoned to these people who had ridiculous sets and like, three golden partners. SO I would just stare them down, shrug, and back roll off the cliff.

It's mostly a gear thing. You can be the same level, but if they have better gear, you'll probably die.

Okay so for the time being I'm stuck using my starting armor as a Pyromancer.
Are there any good light armor sets that I can start using while keeping my amazing flippy powers of doom?

It depends, what's your maximum equipment load?

Just make sure you're below 25% of your max load.

The dingy robe is a really lightweight top that's super good at +10

I have no fucking clue what armor/weapons are good. Stats either since different weapons use different stats.

If you want really good light armor, Blighttown has the Crimson set with a good defense, and the Demon Ruins have the Gold-Hemmed Black set which has the best resistances against poison. Easily the best light armors.

You can find the Crimson set if you're coming up to New Londo from Blighttown, or going down. It's off to the left, going down. To the right going up.

The Gold-Hemmed Black set is gonna kinda require you to die. You go into the Demon Ruins, get to the first bonfire, then just turn and go directly to the first bridge you see, down a really steep hill. Cross the bridge and white fog, ignore the boss, get to the end and get the armor, then get immediately killed by said boss because picking up the set is what alerts him.

Both are super close to each other so if you want to get both just going through blighttown it's entirely possible.

You don't have to die to get Gold-Hemmed set. Grab it, run the fuck back to the fog gate, and wait. He'll jump for you, latch onto the wall, you smack his fingers a bit, and he's dead instantly.

that's assuming you can get there

he has a pretty massively powerful fire attack, and his jumping at you is determined by him potentially doing a certain attack

EDIT: i should note, only get the gold-hemmed black set if you really dislike poison, the crimson set has a solid 200 defense at +10, so that's way more worth putting time into
