Just finished Luigi's Mansion 2.

I love the ghosts in this game, especially the green ones and the Polterpups. They have so much personality it's just awesome.

Especially the Polterpup.

E. Gadd is one of Nintendo's better characters.

When he was releasing the ghost i got nervous at the button on the remote for Boos. I mean, he did say he accidentally set King Boo free when he sold the painting in a garage sale.

You know what I hope the next 3D Mario game is?

We deserve another traditional 3D Mario adventure game, like Mario 64/Sunshine. We had fun with Mario Galaxy, and 3D Land was a nice blend of 2D and 3D Marios, but I want another huge world to run and jump around in, dammit.

Sunshine was probably the least traditional of the 3D Marios, really.

Instead of the grassland world > desert world > ice world > fire world formula it was all tropical themed, and it's a reason why I really enjoyed it.

Themes in Super Mario Sunshine:
OVERALL THEME: Vacation
Subthemes: Amusement park, mountain getaway (Bianco Hills), crazy industrial harbor, big ol public beach, secluded beach + luxury hotel, reef + cliffside ruins, crazy treefort floating village place what the shit

The story is so non-Mario, too.
Mario goes on vacation to a tropical island, but finds it covered in darkness (and goop) and is blamed for the mess.
Then he gets put on trial and arrested.

And yet it's my favourite game of all time

Your not the only one who enjoys a good vacation with Mario

I Liked jumping about those watery ruins in Noki Bay tbh :)

3D Land is awesome and you know it. I would like a new game in the style of it.

No keegs no

I liked 3D Land, but compared to the rest of the 3D Mario games, it was a bit mediocre.

No terras no
3D Land is the best 3D Mario game ever.
64 DS was cool, Sunshine was OK, Galaxy was just getting old (And it was home to the Ensemble Darkhorse, Rosie.), and Galaxy 2 was probably the second best.

I wouldn't mind another 3D land. It was perfect for the 3ds, though, maybe fleshing it out a bit more/making longer levels would help.

I'm kinda hoping the next console 3D Mario is a cross between galaxy and 64. Maybe large worlds with little planets to hop between or something.

In any case, I'm interested in what they'll come up with.

I want another Sunshine-styled game, with a big, expansive world to roam around and do whatever in.
IMO, Games like Mario Galaxy and 3D Land are fun, but a little too linear.
